Who is Japanese Grandma?
My sons grew up calling my mom Japanese Grandma, they are adults now but the nickname stuck.
We strive to serve the freshest organic food based on the principles of feeding our bodies and soul with the best, just as Grandma would want.
As for culinary heritage, my father was a Master Japanese Chef. My parents owned restaurants and some of my fondest memories are of working besides them.

Shinji's Poke Bowl
Served at lunch, ahi or mixed fish lightly coated chef's special saucewith a choice of Tamanishiki white rice, brown rice or local organic green salad
Japanese style sushi-burrito, rolled with seaweed. Choice of shrimp tempura or poke. Includes cucumber, avocado, greens, and Tamanishiki rice. Served during lunch only.
Traditional Japanese cold buckwheat soba noodles with dipping sauce, three pieces of veggie tempura and two pieces of shrimp tempura.
Eel and shrimp tempura, avocado, crunchy bits and eel sauce.
Thinly sliced Hamachi sashimi dressed with Ponzu.
Fried, whole, local fresh-water shrimp. Served with ginger tumeric aioli.
Spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, ponzu sauce with shrimp. topped with Japanese dressing.
With shaved cabbage, katsu sauce and spicy mustard.
Oriental Chicken Salad
Pan-seared, organic, chicken, mixed greens, cabbage, carrot, cilantro, green onions, pickled ginger and fried won-tons.
Grandma's Futomaki Roll
Egg, cucumber, yamagobo, kanpyo, shitake, eel and shrimp.
Available without eel and shrimp.
